READ OUR MISSION STATEMENT

WHEREAS, Let Experienced Pilots Fly (LEPF & RaiseThePilotAge.com ) was established in 2022 for the
purpose of raising the airline pilot retirement age, and;
WHEREAS, over the years the membership has grown by thousands, including an increase at the BOD
level, bringing many new and diverse ideas, and;
WHEREAS, it is imperative that as LEPF grows, that its mission statement be reviewed and codified,
and;
WHEREAS, LEPF’s success is based on unity and on the fundamental choice of our collective efforts
being focused on one single trajectory, and;
WHEREAS, LEPF is focused on raising the age, or eliminating the age requirement completely.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the LEPF BOD codifies its mission statement without political, economic,
personal status, or any other prejudice to pursue a change to the US Code (statute) of the FAA FAR
Part 121 pilot retirement age, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the members of the LEPF BOD hereby affirm their support for and of the
following LEPF Mission Statement;

Let Experienced Pilots Fly is committed to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of
the aviation industry by advocating for raising the mandatory retirement age for FAR Part 121
airline pilots. We believe that experienced pilots are the cornerstone of our aviation industry,
combining their expertise and mentorship to uphold the highest level of safety in our flight decks.
Our mission is to promote policies that recognize the value of seasoned professional pilots and
ensure that retirement is based on technical performance and medical standards rather than an
arbitrary age, and ensure that any retired pilots remain eligible for employment at any FAR 121
certificated carrier. Our sole mission is
to raise the age, or eliminate the age requirement completely.
