“EXPERIENCE MATTERS”
September 4, 2025
This week’s update includes:
· Congressman Nehls luncheon and BOD meeting
· LEPF bill introduction
· Upcoming meetings with Senators Graham and Kelly
**The LEPF Board of Directors met August 28th prior to the U.S. Representative Troy Nehls luncheon, in Houston, TX. The event was a huge success. Thank you to all who attended! Your engagement at these events is what strengthens our relationships with our biggest supporters.
Congressman Nehls’ support was highlighted by his comments such as: “I’m glad to be in this fight with you all.” and “I will keep pushing until the end.”
LEPF is grateful for the Congressman’s resolve in getting this unjust law changed.
We were entertained by Dr. Ronan Tynan, who is a well-known tenor, doctor, motivational speaker and LEPF supporter. He attended our board meeting.
To be clear, our mission will not be won on social media, but in the halls of Congress with a strategic approach carried out by a unified grassroots effort of our membership.
Here is a LINK to a short video of Congressman Nehls during a House hearing on aviation.
**We will soon have specific information on the LEPF bill. Congress re-convened from their summer break on September 2nd. We are in communication with Senator Graham’s office as to when and how the bill will be re-introduced.
Every day that passes, approximately 17 of our colleagues are fired because they had a birthday. The goal is to get the bill passed this fall and end this unjust law.
**We are meeting with Senator Kelly’s office this week. He is a co-sponsor of the LEPF bill. Senator Kelly’s support is significant because it highlights the bipartisan nature of eliminating/raising the age.
Experience Matters!
