WE HAVE A BILL and it is S. 4452 and has been assigned to the Senate, Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee!
Your LEPF legislative team held a strategy session on May 7, 2026. We have laid out the roadmap for the upcoming months with our internal work and with our supporters on the Hill, leading to a DC Fly-In.
Our LEPF team will be fully involved in the development of the bill language as it makes its way through the legislative process.
As we move forward the reality is that our volunteers, while not being compensated, need to travel to DC for meetings and we still have a lobbying team under contract, as well as a need to cover necessary expenses.
We take our fiduciary duty of your contributions very seriously and you can count on us spending your contributions judiciously.
If you have recently contributed, we thank you. If you haven’t contributed we ask that you join your fellow pilots and invest in this effort, so that you too have skin in the game. This benefits ALL of you, so it is only fair that ALL of you contribute to the effort.
Please help us help you!
Now is NOT the time to stand on the sidelines. Now is the crucial time to put your shoulder to the wheel, joining us on our mission to get this law changed!
There is no better investment into your financial future than helping us help you. We are all unpaid volunteers, many of us already retired, but passionate about our work. We need your financial contributions to get this over the line.

Thank you for your continued support.
The burden of proof should be on the agencies that restrict the pilot license privileges at a certain age, to justify why they do so, because EXPERIENCE MATTERS!
